The Festival Church model is being widely adopted as a way of rejuvenating churches and parishes across the country.
The Association of Festival Churches are currently developing a range of resources that will showcase what Festival Churches are currently doing and help you decide whether the Festival Church model is right for you.
Therefore keep your eyes peeled in the next few months for our brand new website which will be your portal to everything do with Festival Churches.
The Festival Church model is both simple and flexible and boils down to two fundamental changes in the way the church operates:
The idea of Festival Churches was first established by the Church of England in 2015. There are now many thriving Festival Churches operating throughout the country from Kent to Cumbria, from Cornwall to Northumberland.
Over the next few months we will be producing a number of case studies to help you explore the impact Festival Churches are having. The first few case studies are already on the website and can be accessed here - but keep coming back as we will be adding more
We would love to hear from you if have any questions or thoughts about Festival Churches.
It may be that you are wondering if the model is right for you or you might need help on a certain aspect or you might have some ideas of useful resources that we could produce.
Drop us a line using our online form or drop us an email and we will get straight back to you.
